Introduction
Finding an image like this turned out to be a treasure trove. As it turned out, the idea was right under my nose. I was surprised why no one had paid attention to it before.
Inspiration
The modern fashion industry often finds inspiration in everyday things, giving them new and surprising meanings. My inspiration was a matchbox. An image that contains many meanings. After all, inside it were hidden not only matches, but also a part of our history. I called the rucksack ZHGI.
Process
I spent long hours researching materials, choosing manufacturers and testing technologies to realise this idea. The end result is a practical and high quality backpack with many features.
Unique features
The mood it creates. It's like you're going out to play with what you can't. There is a kind of rebellious spirit in it. Provocation and play. This backpack is for those who are not afraid to attract attention.
Inside the backpack there are special compartments and soft cushioned wall cushioning to safely carry tech including. It's sewn from abrasion-resistant eco-leather and stitched with reinforced threads. Every scuff enhances its authenticity
Challenges and solutions
One of the biggest challenges was realising that big projects require a team. At first I tried to do everything myself, but I quickly realised that a team was needed. This became an important lesson learnt.
Popularity and impact
The first 50 backpacks turned out to be not just a product, but a real coveted art object. ZHGI has been shipped to New York, Brooklyn, and Moscow. I constantly get rave reviews about how much people love the backpack.
ZHGI has sold itself and every now and then I come across the occasional viral video where the backpack becomes the main character. People are so hooked that there could be such a backpack with this design.
I believe this is the beginning of something bigger. That's why the fire that ignited this project glows to this day.
